Trove Of Valhalla – North Star

By way of background, the Viking civilization flourished during 700 AD to 1,000 AD throughout northern Europe. Artists and craftsmen, working in gold, copper, silver and bronze, evolved a distinctive design style in which strands are plaited and interlaced with animal-like creatures. The Vikings concealed hoards of ornaments and silver believing that what was buried would be enjoyed in the afterlife. Through archaelogical finds of treasure-trove, we can experience the wonder of the Viking age, which we have re-created here in this unique range of pendants.

Each pendant comes with a chain and a booklet, which explains the significance of all the pieces in the collection.

Through magic, Odin spun the heavens around Veraldar Nagli or the World Spike. Known to us as the North Star - beautifully interpreted here as a pendant - it was essential in navigation and was named Odin's Eye by the Vikings.
